Okami | VRC | VSeeFace | Warudo

Inspired by Amaterasu, I introduce you to the fire spirit wolf girl, Okami! After my first model, Juno, I wanted to aim for something less cute, and spicier. I focused a lot on tweaking Tori base to almost perfect for dancing and general FBT usage. She can be used for all your VRChat and 3D Vtubing needs!

VRCHAT INSTALL

Use VR Creator Companion App to create a new 2022 Unity Avatar Project with these Packages (First 3 come by default)

1. VRChat Package Resolver Tool

2. VRChat SDK Base

3. VRChat SDK Avatars

4. VRCFury*

After creating the project and opening it, import Poiyomi 9.0.45 and then the Okami VRC Unity Package I provided. Open the scene "Okami (OPEN ME)" and you're good!

VRCFury must be added manually

Goto "Settings > Packages > Add Repository" in Creator Companion and add these two repositories:

VSEEFACE INSTALL

NOTE: This is only needed if you plan on editing the model and exporting the .VSF file yourself. THIS IS NOT NEEDED IF NOT EDITING! Please just import the .VSF file into VSeeFace as you would normally. No Unity required.

Start a new Unity Project in 2019.4.31f

Then import these unity packages in this exact order.

UniVRM-0.89.0_9470 (After import accept changing the scene to linear color space)

VSF_SDK_v1.13.38c

poi_Toon_9.0.45

Dynamic Bones (Needs to be acquired/bought)

OkamiVSF

WARUDO INSTALL

NOTE: Just like the VSeeFace install, this is only needed if you choose to edit the model. This is not required if you plan to use Okami as-is. Use the Okami.warudo character file and import it when in the import menu of Warudo.

Setup

I've made this process extra easy to avoid headaches. I've Zipped the Entire Warudo prject folder, so what you should have to do is install Unity 2021.3.18f1 with the Unity Hub. After that, extract the provided zip and add it to your Unity Hub Projects by using "Add Project From Disk".

Everything SHOULD be inside that project folder and you can make adjustments to the materials and or whatever else you might want to edit!

Typically, after making adjustments to the character file, you'll need to re-setup the character.

Apologies if this isn't too precise, Warudo is relatively new and definitely hard to work with in comparison to VRM/VSF and VRChat models. It's definitely a ton better than VSF tho and my preferred Vtuber software.
